She was predeceased by: her parents, E. T. Epps and Selma Blizzard Epps; her son Stephen Whitley; and her brother Johnny Epps. She is survived by: her husband Bill Mingin; her child Rev. Thomas Mingin (Holly); her grandchildren, Cody, Susan, Cloie, Taylor and T. J.; her siblings, Henry Epps, David Epps, Lynn Dixon and Debbie Joyner; and her niece Denise Joyner.
