He is survived by: his mother Brenda Williams Frye; his wife Karen Collier Frye; his stepsons, Joshua Key (Molly) of Carthage and Matthew Key of Carthage; his sister Robin Lawhon (Robert) of West End; his grandchildren, Gage Key, Weston Key and Ryker Key; and his nieces, Sarah Thomas and Norah Thomas.
