He was predeceased by: his wife Jeannie Cole; his parents, Carlton L. Cole Sr. and Alice McKenzie Cole; and his siblings, Carlton L. Cole Jr., Dorothy Cole Bryant and Bettie Coleen Cole.
He is survived by: his children, Carlton Cole (Chanda) of West End, Ray Taylor (Kristy) of West End, Tammy Sarmadi of Carthage and Mark Taylor (Carolyn) of Carthage; and his grandchildren, Carlton "C. A." Cole, Cason Cole, James Taylor, Jonathan Tamayo, Tamara Sarmadi and Sarah Barber. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
