He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Frederick and Carolyn Burns Lea; his stepdaughter Jessica Porter; and his uncles, Harold and Jeffrey Lea.

He is survived by: his son Ryan Lea (Ninel); his stepchildren, Alex Porter and Meghan Mckenzie (Neil); his sibling Ashley Brett Lea (Danielle); and his aunt Karen Burns Robertson (Joe). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
