She was predeceased by: her parents, John Stratton and Thelma Williamson Stratton; and her sister Patricia Hann. She is survived by: her husband George Morrison; her children, Michael John Petri of Kentucky, Peter Morrison of Raleigh and Amy Morrison of Kernersville; her brothers, John Stratton of Utah and David Stratton of Indiana; and her granddaughters, Hannah and Emma. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Ashelawn Memorial Chapel (3470 U. S. Hwy 221 N, Jefferson, NC 28640).
