She is survived by: her husband Jackie Severt; her children, Donald Hensley (Stephanie) of Summerville, NC, Harry "Corky" Severt of Ocala, FL, Annie Walker of Clio, MI, Christine Beardsley (Craig) of Oscoda, MI, Jackie Severt (Tina) of Shenandoah, VA, Scott Severt of Millington, MI and Cheyenne Jones (Willie) of McKenzie, TX; and her sister Mary Nelson of Terrell, TX. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Midway Baptist Church (1670 Mt Jefferson Rd, West Jefferson, NC 28694). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
