He is survived by: his mother Reta Humelsine of Elyria, Ohio; his children, Kelly Pope of West Jefferson and Michael Humelsine (Chelsea) of Tallahassee, Florida; and his siblings, Larry Humelsine of Lorain, Thomas Humelsine of Nashville, Tennessee and Karin Hamrick (Dan) of Amherst, Ohio. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
