Carson leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Carson’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Calvin and Myrtle "Deanie" Jarvis Howell; and his brothers, Calvin Howell, Alvin Howell and Bobby Howell.
He is survived by: his siblings, Dennis Howell of Wilkesboro, Jimmy Howell of West Jefferson and Dony Miller (Lloyd) of West Jefferson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
