With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Clifford Wiley Jr. of West Jefferson, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 8, 2025 at the age of 70. As Charles Clifford departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Charles Clifford may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Charles Clifford leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Clifford Wiley and Opal Dover Williams. He is survived by: his wife Terri Benedict Wiley; his sons, Richard Wiley (Tanya Cook) of Chesapeake, VA and Shannon Wiley of Virginia; and his stepson Aaron Bradley of West Jefferson.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Mount Olive Baptist Church (1710 Water Tank Rd, Fleetwood, NC 28626). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
