He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Ruth Sloan and Reva Oneta Duran Sloan; and his sister Marilyn Ziebell. He is survived by: his wife Linda Dianne Kelley Sloan; his sons, Ryan Sloan (Leah) of Oakland, CA and Andy Sloan (Tessie) of Midlothian, TX; and his brother Larry Sloan of Heartland, TX. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Medi-Home Hospice of Ashe and/or to Ashe County Habitat for Humanity.
