It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna Santana of West Jefferson, North Carolina, born in Ybor City, Florida, who passed away on May 17, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clement Russell and Martha Fernandez Russell; and her sisters, Theresa and Angela. She is survived by: her husband George Santana; her children, Tricia Little (George) of West Jefferson and Vincent Santana (Dan Towns) of Sydney; her sister Vickie Pazo of Tampa, FL; her grandchildren, Bailey and Bryce Little of West Jefferson; her brother-in-law Jerry Abreu of West Jefferson, NC; her nieces and nephews, Aaron Abreu of Charlotte, John "JJ" Eller of Key West, Tanya Prosser (James) of Norfolk, VA, Lauren Pazo of Tampa, FL, Brittany Serrano (George) of Brandon, FL and Adrienne Abreu of Liverpool, UK; and her pet Buddy Russell.
