He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Mack and Ashland Love Elliott; his son William Lloyd Elliott; and his siblings, Grover Elliott and Caroleen Ferrell.
He is survived by: his wife Shelba McNeill Elliott of West Jefferson; his children, Tim Elliott of West Jefferson, Donna Bare, Susan Roland of Jefferson and Kim Patterson of Greenville, IN; his sister Sybill Willis of Morehead City, NC.; his grandchildren, Crystal Linville, Chase Chatham, Ethan McCoy, Christopher Roland, Austin Whittington and Amber Whittington; and his great grandchildren, Jocelynn Chatham, Harper Roland and Charlie Whittington.
