With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Franklin Goodwin of West Jefferson, North Carolina, who passed away on March 5, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, James Allen and Mary Frances Goodwin; and his wife Shirley Ann Cline Goodwin. He is survived by : his daughters, Mary "Merkey" Thrash (John "Boona") of Paris, Tennessee and Kim Dempsey (Allen) of West Jefferson; his grandchildren, Elena Craig, Bekah Craig and Matt Craig (Devin) of Paris, Tennessee; his great grandchildren, Farin Lynn Craig of Paris, Tennessee and Tillie Mae Craig of Paris, Tennessee; his brother Roy Allen "Bud" Goodwin (Cathy) of Crowley, Texas; his niece Christina Goodwin of Crowley, Texas; and his nephew John Goodwin (Jennifer) of Waxahachie, Texas.
