It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Freda Graybeal of West Jefferson, North Carolina, who passed away on May 8, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son C. David Long. She is survived by: her husband John "J. B." Graybeal; her children, William Long (Margorie) of Hockessin, DE, Donald Long of Chesapeake City, MD, Richard Long (Pam) of Hockessin, DE, Gregory Long and Amy Kerr; her sister Wilma O'Neal; her stepsons, Johnny Graybeal (Jennifer) of Winston Salem and Ronnie Graybeal (Patti) of Jefferson; and her stepgrandchildren, Kenneth Faircloth (Zelda), Alex Graybeal, Katie Graybeal, Staci Oliver and Cora Busick.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ashelawn Memorial Chapel (3470 U. S. Hwy 221 N, Jefferson, NC 28640). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
