With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald Alan Tygielski of West Jefferson, North Carolina, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on April 30, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sister Georgianna Lillian; and his parents, Stella Tygielski and George Tygielski. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Regan Tygielski of West Jefferson, NC; his children, Jeremy Tygielski (Maja) of Lüdersdorf, Germany, Kate Chazin (Daniel) of Nashville, TN and Elizabeth Seigle (Alec) of Atlanta, GA.; his grandchildren, Dzia Dzia, Stella, Emmett, Regan, Martel and Charlie; and his siblings, Diane Thomas of Ada, MI and Gene Tygielski of Rio Nido, CA.. He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews, as well as a wide circle of cousins.
