Helen Sheets Phillips Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen Sheets Phillips (West Jefferson, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 19, 2026 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Glenn Sheets and Virginia Harris Sheets Jones; her husband Carl H. Phillips; her children, Dwight Phillips, Sandy Phillips Blevins and Darrell Phillips; and her siblings, Jean Campbell, Bobbie Marsh, Betty Dawn, Gale Sheets, Kenneth Sheets and Bill Sheets.

She is survived by: her daughters, Twyla Phillips Smith (John) and Kathy Phillips; and her sisters, Sharon Johnson and Joann Shore. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, seven great- grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
