With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Herbert Glenn Richardson of West Jefferson, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 12, 2025 at the age of 92. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilda Lee Richardson and Mary Alberta Miller Richardson; his wife Betty Ruth Hart Richardson; and his son Robert Glenn Richardson. He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Johnson of Crumpler and Sherry Blevins of West Jefferson; his daughter-in-law Patricia Lindley of Jefferson; his grandchildren, Andy Richardson of West Jefferson, Kevin Richardson (Abi) of West Jefferson, Lora Miller (TJ) of West Jefferson, Rebecca Reedy (Mitchell) of Damascus, VA and Emily Blevins of West Jefferson; and his great grandchildren, Hailey Miller, Leigha Miller, Bryson Reedy, Cameron Reedy, Gracie Richardson and Owen McGuire. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
