He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Pugh and Mary Pugh. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Pugh of West Jefferson; and his sons, Daniel Howard Pugh (Carol) of Creston, NC and David Matthew Pugh of West Jefferson, NC..
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bald Mountain Baptist Church (1435 Bald Mountain Rd, West Jefferson, NC 28694).
