He was predeceased by: his parents, Worth Segraves and Maggie Brooks Segraves. He is survived by: his close friends, Johnny Meeks, Bruce Mathers and Richard Codwell; his wife Ollie Taylor Segraves; his siblings, Carol Davis of Deep Gap, Pat Blevins of Creston, Brenda Simmons of Lansing, Steve Segraves (Linda) of West Jefferson, Lee Segraves (Carol Lee) of Warrensville, Roy Segraves (Debbie) of Warrensville, Phil Segraves (Pat) of Laurel Springs and Roger Segraves (Mary) of Sparta; his grandchildren, Nicholas Gregory and Olivia Brown; and his great grandchildren, Freya and Dalia Brown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mount Vernon Baptist Church (2190 Cranberry Crk Rd, Laurel Springs, NC 28684). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
