Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Roy Glen Poe (West Jefferson, North Carolina), who passed away at the age of 79, on April 3, 2026. He was predeceased by: his mother Tressie Campbell Poe; his brother Doug Poe; his grandparents, Charlie and Lou Campbell; and his parents-in-law, Wilford and Alta Porter.

He is survived by: his wife Judy Porter Poe of West Jefferson; his sons, Johnathan Poe (Lou Ann) of Elkin and Chris Poe of Grassy Creek; his sister Penny Roark (Keith) of Lansing; his niece Sheila Bristle of Raleigh; and his caregiver Bud. He is also survived by two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
