She was predeceased by: her parents, Ambrose Bare and Lena Bare; and her former husband Brad Tilley. She is survived by: her nephew Bob Becker of Miami; her sisters, Grace and Carolyn; her husband Jack Sheets; her children, Mike, Kathy and Jennifer; and her friend Bob Becker.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Boone Family Funeral Home (2005 Mt Jefferson Rd, West Jefferson, NC 28694). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may to made to Orion Baptist Church and Cemetery in lieu of flowers.
