We are sad to announce that, on January 19, 2026, at the age of 74, Stephen Arthur Weddle of West Jefferson, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Stephen may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Stephen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Weddle and Edna Weddle. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Weddle; his sons, Jeremy of West Jefferson and Chad Weddle of West Jefferson; and his brother John Weddle of Indian.
