She is survived by: her husband James Edward Mahala; her sons, Edward Mahala (Penny) of Creston and Andrew Mahala (Crystal) of Zionsville; her siblings, Ray Pierce, Sandra Huffman (Roger) of Millers Creek and Deane Childress of Lansing; her grandchildren, Dale Mahala, Jordan Mahala, Jessica Mahala and Luke Mahala; and her great grandchildren, Sam Ward and Grace Ward. She is also survived by several nieces and nephew.
