He is survived by: his mother Carolyn Vaden Venable; his wife Peggy Faye Gilley Venable; his children, Samuel Venable (Allison) and Abigail Patane (Matthew); his granddaughters, Madelynn and Avery; and his sisters, Annette Turney (Bryan) and Barbara Coe (Steve). He is also survived by several nieces; a nephew.
