He is survived by: his wife Nancy "Pat" Lee Young Hooker; his son Paul Hooker, Jr. (Heidy); his grandchildren, Paul Hooker, III (Jaimie), Gaby Laurent (Joseph) and Erick Hooker (Kieran); his sister Doris Meachum (James); and his sister-in-law Elsie Hooker. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Faith Baptist Church (1047 Tom East Rd, Westfield, NC 27053). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
