She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernesto Lucero and Consuelo Lucero (Martinez); her significant other Roland L. Bazinet, Jr.; her grandson Aaron Van Marshall; her son-in-law Van Marshall; and her siblings, Andrew, John, Ernest Lucero and Lucita Soderstrom.
She is survived by: her children, Mark S. Bazinet (Kimberly) of Vancouver, WA, Joanne M. Marshall of Ludlow and Michael N. Bazinet (Susan) of Whispering Pines, NC; her granddaughter Jordan Parnicky (Alex); her daughters, Grace and Elizabeth Bazinet; her great grandchildren, Brayden and Ashton Parnicky; and her brother David Lucero of Chula Vista, CA. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, numerous friends.
A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Anne Church (30 College St, Chicopee, MA 01020). A committal service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery (1390 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001).
Mary requested that memorial donations be made in her memory to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
