It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ginny Hunter of Whitakers, North Carolina, born in Clarksville, Tennessee, who passed away on August 24, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Nashville; her in-laws, James and Sandy Hunter; her grandparents, Alton Sidney, Elizabeth Faulk Harris, Elisha Mann and Mamie Holland Rackley; and her pets, Odie, Bridget, Amos, Mollie, Emma, Ellie, Andy, Jesse, Callie, Harris and Spaz.
She is survived by: her husband Michael Hunter; her children, Chris Cooper (Melissa), Michael Cooper (Al Critcher), Terry Cooper (Ashley) and Michelle Powell (Chris); her grandchildren, Jenna Ezzell, Wyatt Cooper, Emily Cooper, Riley Cooper, Christian Powell and Harley Cooper; her siblings, Gail Rackley Wilson and Phil Rackley; and her pets, Leo, Simon, Johnny, Oreo, Garrett, Bailey, Ginger and Ozzy. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
