He was predeceased by: his parents, James Allen Griffin and Minnie Neal Strickland Griffin. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his sister Myrtle Davenport (Greenville); his half-sister Judy Best; and his brother-in-law James Linwood May (Nashville). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Momeyer Ruritan Club (4812-4972 Momeyer Way, Momeyer, NC 27856).
