He was predeceased by: his parents, Norwood Smith and Annie Rue King Smith; his granddaughter Callie Smith; his grandmother Bettie Ruth Smith; his uncles, Bill Smith and Wayne Smith; and his close friend Diesel.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Smith; his children, Irving Smith (Cynthia), Michael Warren (Penny) and Mary Elizabeth Smith; his grandchildren, Eason Warren, Payton Warren, Layla Smith, Hadley Lewis and Brayden Lewis; and his brother Norwood Hank Smith (Mary).
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Gethsemane Baptist Church (7 Bridges Rd, North Carolina 27891).
