She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Lee Self and Effie Bivens Self; and her husband Robert Lee Pruitt. She is survived by: her sons, David Pruitt of Lawndale and Gary Pruitt (Tina) of Lawndale; and her grandchildren, Keisha Garcia, Erin Pruitt-Bangs and Thomas Pruitt. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
