He was predeceased by: his parents, Asberry Jackson and Eula Parker Jackson. He is survived by: his wife Joan Britt Jackson; his children, Lawrence Jackson, Jr. (Melanie) of White Oak, NC, Tony R. Jackson (Anita) of Spencer, WV and Elsie Reeves (Jimmy) of Laurel Hill, NC; and his sisters, Francis Blount of Southern Pines, NC and Lula Pait of St. Pauls, NC.. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren.
