Stella Nell Messer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stella Nell Messer (White Oak, North Carolina), who passed away on January 6, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maude Rose and John Hal Rose; her husband Yoder Davis Messer; and her sister Joan R. Hill. She is survived by: her children, Davis Messer (Lorraine), Judy Slagle (Dave) and Trudy Lilly (Al); her grandchildren, Hal Messer, Sara Nance (Heath), Jay Messer, Jessica Slagle, Catherine Slagle, Taylor Messer, April Gauze and Samantha Robertson; and her great grandchildren, Makena Nance, Laney Nance, Stella Luna Mei Slagle, Isaac, Jamison Sizemore, Bradyen and Branson Robertson.
