She was predeceased by: her parents, Elzo Hoaglan and Edna Hoaglan; her husband Isaac Davis Norris; her son John Davis Norris; her great grandchild Kayleigh Norris; her siblings, Gerald Hoaglan, Darlene Krueger (Billy) and Marlene Soles (Keith); her parents-in-law, Hubert Norris and Carrie Love Norris; and her siblings-in-law, Velma Norris, Dewitt Cox, Billy Norris and Horry Edwards.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Edwards (Benjy) and Cindy Baccarny (Stephen); her grandchildren, Isaac David Norris (Alison), L. Whitney Hall (Micah), Jami Burney (Jerry), Jonathan Norris, Ashley Norris and Alison Deal (Chris); her great grandchildren, Laken Rahall, Josiah, Sasha Hall, Rainey, Peyton, Suri Evans, Sidney, Mia Norris, Leigha and Logan Deal; her sisters, Marilyn Cox and Janice Monfre (Joe); and her siblings-in-law, Linda Edwards, Phyllis Mills (Ted), Helen Norris and Brooks Norris. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Trinity Baptist Church (412 N Madison St, Whiteville, NC 28472). A celebration of life was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
