He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Norton and Janie Roscoe Norton; and his wife Brenda Smith Norton. He is survived by: his daughters, Maria Norton Elliott (David) of Whiteville, Joyce Norton Steele of Sanford, NC, Angela Norton Reaves (Bert) of Wilmington, NC, Kimberly Norton Walton (Jonathan) of Hallsboro, NC and Andrea Norton of Greensboro, NC; and his brother Jimmy Norton of Jacksonville, FL. He is also survived by 14 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren.
