With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Earl Goins of Whiteville, North Carolina, who passed away on October 24, 2025 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Cleveland Goins and Lornia Horton Goins; his wife Evelyn Louise Adams Goins; his great grandchildren, Serenity Rose Goins and Jax Alexander Rodriguez; and his siblings, Ruby Bowen, Claude Goins, Leroy "Sonny" Goins, Juanita Goins and Christine Peer.
He is survived by: his children, Charles E. Goins of Whiteville, Calvin C. Goins (Kimberly) of Elizabethtown, Betty Elizabeth Fukishima (John) of Brevard and Susan G. Ward (Steve) of Dunn; his sister Louise Goins Gilmore of Chadbourn; his grandchildren, Ryan Goins, Heather Goins, Brett Goins, Christopher Ward, Grayson Ward, Drew Lewis, Kelly Rodriguez and Parker Ward; and his great grandchildren, Savannah Goins, Emma Goins, Siler Goins, Owen Goins, Jeremiah Ward, Scarlett Goins, Liam Ward, Skye Rodriguez, Cruz Rodriguez and Jett Rodriguez.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Worthington Funeral Home (405 E Strawberry Blvd, Chadbourn, NC 28431).
