He is survived by: his wife Gecholia Wright Gore; his daughter Celeste Purcell of Clayton, NC; his mother Mary Frances Gore of Fair Bluff, NC; and his siblings, Darlene Gooding of Raleigh, NC, Rachel Gore of Fair Bluff, NC and Dwight Gore of Fair Bluff, NC..
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville (707 Vinson Blvd, Whiteville, NC 28472). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Brunswick-Waccamaw Baptist Headquarters (600 Pine Log Rd, Whiteville, NC 28472).
