She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonzie Clewis and Ora Jane Clewis; and her brother Lonzie Butler "L. B." Clewis. She is survived by: her son Thomas Gerald Monroe; her daughter-in-law Julie Ann Gore Monroe; her granddaughters, Brianna Rose Monroe and Danielle Monroe Nolan (Daniel); her great grandchild Gatlin Michael Nolan of Lake Waccamaw; and her siblings, L. C. "Greg" Clewis (Kim) of Shallotte, Jimmy Clewis (Cheryl) of Whiteville and Earlene Clewis Noble (Woodrow) of Chadbourn. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, dear friends.
