She was predeceased by: her parents, Leamon Ward and Cleo Gore Ward. She is survived by: her husband Carl Butler, Sr.; her children, Carl Butler, Jr. of Whiteville and Scarlet Butler Crabtree (Eddie) of Greenville, NC; and her grandchildren, Stone Baldwin and Sky Baldwin.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the TBD Peacock's Chapel (1227 S Madison St, Whiteville, NC 28472). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Peacock Funeral Home Chapel (1227 S Madison St, Whiteville, NC 28472). A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 at the Peacock's Columbus Memorial Park (1227 S Madison St, Whiteville, NC 28472).
