It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnny Allen Jernigan Sr. of Whiteville, North Carolina, who passed away on October 29, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul Allen Jernigan and Evelyn Loraine Atkinson Jernigan; and his sister Nancy Jernigan Cruz. He is survived by : his wife Brenda Nealy Jernigan; his children, April Davis (Eugene) of Whiteville, NC, Johnny Jernigan (Tana) of Jacksonville, NC and Donny A. Jernigan of Raleigh, NC; his granddaughters, Alyssa Davis of Whiteville, NC and Emma Davis of Whiteville, NC; and his siblings, Peggy Long (Coy) of Whiteville, NC and Timmy Jernigan (Laura) of Hickory, NC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
