He is survived by : his mother Jayne Smith; his siblings, David Merwin Smith III (Susan) of Whiteville, Chris Lynn Smith (Mandy) of Whiteville and Marjorie Drake Smith Simmons of Whiteville; and his nieces and nephews, Taylor Smith, Matthew Smith, Olivia Smith, Blake Smith, Claire Smith and Maggie Simmons.
