He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Queen Dyson and Thelma Mae Ward; and his brother Jerry E. Dyson. He is survived by: his wife Alice Elizabeth "Beth" Dyson; his sons, Kevin Dyson (Mendy) of Whiteville, Stephen Dyson (Tasha) of Whiteville and Terry Clifton (Dee Dee) of Clayton; his brother Charles E Dyson (Barbara) of Whiteville; and his grandchildren, Chase Dyson, Anna Grace Dyson, Liam Dyson, Brayden Dyson, Brendan Clifton, Owen Clifton and Emersyn Lynn Clifton.
