He was loved and cherished by many people including : his father William Nathaniel Craft; his friends, Davis (Joyce), Bobby, Joy Barlow, Albert "Sandy", Myra Suffoletta, Billy and Carol Brannock; his former life partner Etta Jean Darter; his wife Carolyn (Bullard); his brother William N. "Bill" Craft II; his stepson Jerry Bullard; his brother James Edward Craft (Susan) of Durham; his sons, Lester R. Craft, Jr. (Stacey) of Basalt, Colo and Michael Gene Craft (Kimberly) of Nashville; his grandchildren, Michael Craft, Miles Craft and Adele Craft; his stepdaughter-in-law Lavane Bullard; his stepgrandchildren, Rebekah Furr and Eden Bullard; and his stepgreat-grandsons, Ryder Bullard, Bryce Furr and Cooper Furr. He was also cherished by seven nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to the Georgetown College (Ky.) scholarship fund in honor of Lester R. Craft at 400 E. College St., Georgetown KY 40321.
