She was predeceased by: her parents, E. Devon Duncan and Lula Hinson Duncan; her husband Charles D. Hammond; her son Benjamin Long; and her brother Larry Duncan.
She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Long (Vicky) of Whiteville and Jesse Long of Whiteville; and her sisters, Mildred Dudley of Whiteville and Edith Honeycutt (Richard) of Southport. She is also survived by three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
