With solemn reverence, we commemorate Naomi Howard of Whiteville, North Carolina, whose life came to an end on July 29, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Naomi may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Naomi touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her son Kevin Howard of Piscataway, NJ; and her siblings, Emma Mitchell, Hilda Coleman of Clarkton, NC, Hope Giles of Fort Valley, GA, Alice Richardson, Nina Boyd and Andrew Boyd of Hallsboro, NC.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sandy Plain Missionary Baptist Church (903 Farmers Union Rd, Clarkton, NC 28433). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
