She was predeceased by: her parents, Carson Hilbert and Gracie Worrell Humphrey; her husband James Edwin Pait; and her sister Mary Ellen H. McKeithan. She is survived by: her sons, Alan James Pait (Vickie) of Whiteville and Eric Edwin Pait (Tonya) of Whiteville; her grandchildren, Leah Pait of Raleigh, Kelly Pait Edwards (Greg) of Whiteville, Luke Pait (Kaylee) of Brown Summit and Zach Pait of Wilmington; her great grandchildren, Shepherd, Xander Edwards, Jack Easlick and Grayson Pait; and her siblings, Nancy Fox of Aberdeen, Jean H. Grubbs (Glenn) of Pinehurst and C. H. "Buddy" Humphrey (Linda) of Wilmington.
