He is survived by: his wife Bertha; his children, Leamon Floyd, Tamra Carter, Eric Floyd (Jennifer) and Ethan Floyd (John Fraser); his grandchildren, Amanda Cribb (Brooks), Erica Edmonton (Alex), Sara Glaesner, Allison Glaesner and Haley Kassell (Aaron); and his siblings, JoAnn Rushton and Morris Floyd. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the McKenzie Mortuary Chapel (112 Jefferson St, Whiteville, NC 28472). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 1:45 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at the Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery (412 N Madison St, Whiteville, NC 28472).
