He is survived by: his wife Janice Gerrald Floyd of Shallotte, N. C; his children, Robert Dixon Floyd, Jr. of Greensboro, N. C., Alexandra Floyd Hawes (Brandon) of Shallotte, N. C. and Charlotte Rebecca Floyd of Greensboro, N. C.; his grandson Gabriel Finnick Hawes; his siblings, Mary Fran Lassiter of Wilmington, N. C., Joe Floyd (Dianne) of Cherry Grove, S. C. and Bill Floyd (Sandi) of Whiteville, N. C.; and his siblings-in-law, Art Gerrald (Polly) of Jamestown, K. Y., Mat Gerrald of Calabash, N. C. and Pam Young (Rob) of Raleigh, N. C.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
