He is survived by: his children, Charlotte Rawls McDuffie (Robert), Gretchen Rawls Sholar (James) and Jonathan Lloyd Rawls; his grandchildren, Patrick McDuffie, Rae McDuffie, Stephen McDuffie, RaeAnna Sholar, Raeganne Sholar, Whitney Sholar and Mason Rawls; his great grandchildren, Lucy McDuffie, Ryder McDuffie and Jaxson Britt; his brother Charlie Rawls; his brother-in-law Donald Holmes; his friend Aaron Goins; and his cousins, Terry Ward and Pat Ward Babson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare or to Whiteville High School Fastpitch Club.
