He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Buddy" Rawls and Martha Babson Rawls; and his sister Mary Jane Hewett. He is survived by: his children, Charlotte Rawls McDuffie (Robert), Gretchen Rawls Sholar (James) and Jonathan Lloyd Rawls; his grandchildren, Patrick McDuffie, Rae McDuffie, Stephen McDuffie, RaeAnna Sholar, Raeganne Sholar, Whitney Sholar and Mason Rawls; his great grandchildren, Lucy McDuffie, Ryder McDuffie and Jaxson Britt; his brother Charlie Rawls; and his friend Aaron Goins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Worthington Funeral Home (405 E Strawberry Blvd, Chadbourn, NC 28431). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare or to Whiteville High School Fastpitch Club.
