He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Hannah and Blanche Burgess Hannah of Pickens, SC.; and his brothers, Joe Frank Hannah and Ray Hannah. He is survived by: his wife Rachel; his grandchildren, Whitney and Sammi Jo (Bradley); his great grandchildren, Matthew, Kate, Cheston, Eastyn and Hayes; his sisters, Mildred Brewer, Dottie Aultman and Martha Hannah; and his sister-in-law Carol Hannah.
