He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Coleman Spivey and Frances Rivenbark Spivey. He is survived by: his wife Laura Fisher Spivey; his children, Dr. Zachary Spivey of Mount Pleasant, SC, Will Spivey of Candler, NC and Susan King of Supply, NC; his grandsons, John Coleman King and Luke Spivey King; and his close friends, Cooper and Johnny Garner (Linda). He is also survived by his family, friends and his work family.
